What's next?

Local magazine: East Ham

London is a huge and beautiful capital city of England. A lot of people, who are coming to visit the country, want to stay for a longer time or even for rest of their lives. However it’s difficult to decide and to choose, which area is more suitable. Due to the fact that the many aren’t able to find any brochures about advantages and disadvantages of living in different districts, I would like to introduce East Ham.
East Ham is a quiet old, but colourful and multi-cultural part of East London. It’s in a good location: not too far away from central London and have plenty of green spaces, for instance, two largest parks - Central and Plashet - merge open spaces with playgrounds and cafes. In addition there are many stores and restaurants specialising in ethnic tastes and numerous places of worship for many different religions. Moreover young people can have many sporting opportunities and because of London 2012 Olympics, which is organised in Newham, individuals have a chance to participate.
Unlike in some richest areas, in East Ham live low income families and more than fifteen percent of residents are unemployed. Therefore not always area looks clean and solid.
In conclusion if you have big family, you are active, love sport, like to try new cuisines or experiment with new taste and not really care about little chaos in the streets - East Ham is ideal for you.

Mural at Morley College

Today I saw the colourful and attractive mural at Morley College. I think it's fantastic idea to connect people to create something together and at the same time to work as individual. In addition the mural shows, that people aren't passive. Painting or drawing is an art, and students, teachers or Morley college guests, who took a part in making this wall more beautiful, more impressive, have also a good imagination.
Besides I'm sure, that such projects have a lot of advantages, for instance, our positive mood is growing up by seeing this brilliant work. Just wants to grab paints and draw something, what's in our head.

Neighbourhood

One flat next to the bedroom I would give to Harry, Harriet and Harold Happy. I don’t care, that nobody knows them or what their car looks like. For me it’s important that they have the same interests and personality as my family. If they impressed me, I’ll give them chance for sure.
Second flat above me in my opinion deserve to get Sarah Harddrive. She already got two good references from previous landlords, that’s really positive thing. She doesn’t have too many friends and is a little bit shy. I like it, because she will not make a lot of noise. In addition Sarah has a good job, so I don’t need to be afraid about the rent.
I must apologise to the other applicants, which were interested in the two vacant flats, but I feel sure and confident about my decision.
Maybe Tom and Paul Stereoblast are decent people and even if they have been recommended by my father, I don’t want to be winded up because of music, which they’re performing. I believe that this couple must put a lot of work to achieve their goals and release dreams.
Jim Scrum’alf seems to be quiet and responsible guy, however he likes beer and sport, which can cause some issues. I don’t want that my neighbour would be angry, behave badly or was messy and dirty.
Bill Rates is currently out of work, though there is a plenty of evidence that he is searching work, but I don’t like to risk, so I will not give a chance.
Kevin and Bratney are sweet couple, have awesome jobs on TV and look devoted to their playful pair of children, but I don’t like their misbalanced and inharmonious life. They disagreed with a lot of things during our interview, and I would like to have cheerful and flexible neighbours.

Yellow produces a warming effect, arouses cheerfulness, stimulates mental activity, and generates muscle energy. Yellow is often associated with food. Bright, pure yellow is an attention getter, which is the reason taxicabs are painted this color. When overused, yellow may have a disturbing effect; it is known that babies cry more in yellow rooms. Yellow is seen before other colors when placed against black; this combination is often used to issue a warning. In heraldry, yellow indicates honor and loyalty. Later the meaning of yellow was connected with cowardice.
Use yellow to evoke pleasant, cheerful feelings. You can choose yellow to promote children's products and items related to leisure. Yellow is very effective for attracting attention, so use it to highlight the most important elements of your design. Men usually perceive yellow as a very lighthearted, 'childish' color, so it is not recommended to use yellow when selling prestigious, expensive products to men – nobody will buy a yellow business suit or a yellow Mercedes. Yellow is an unstable and spontaneous color, so avoid using yellow if you want to suggest stability and safety. Light yellow tends to disappear into white, so it usually needs a dark color to highlight it. Shades of yellow are visually unappealing because they loose cheerfulness and become dingy.

Color Quiz

Your Existing Situation

Desires to be respected by others in order to gain their trust and support for her own personal gain.

>> I even don't know, what to say, am I so... selfish and egocentric? Do I need respect just because of my own personal gain? To be honest, I'm not sure, that it's true.

Your Stress Sources

"Wishes for freedom and independence, free from limitations and restrictions except for the ones she choices to give herself."

>> With that I can agree, I hate, when I'm restricted, I don't like, when someone wants to control me, tries to change something, what is important for me or thinks, that difference, which is between me and others, is not allowed.

Your Restrained Characteristics

"Tries to participate and involve herself in things going on around her; however, avoids conflict and arguments to reduce stress and tension."

>> Sometimes I'm too stubborn to stop arguing and I really dislike, when someone is acting against me, but most of the time I avoid bad and irritating rows.

Feels unhappy and isolated because she is unable to succeed in finding the cooperation and understanding she desires.

>> Right, usually I feel disappointed and upset, when I'm doing my best and in result I receive just negative emotions, passivity or lack of help.
"Seeking to broaden her horizons and believes her hopes and dreams are realistic. Worries she may not be able to do the things she wants and needs to escape to a peaceful, quiet environment in order to restore her confidence."

>> Like everything, it depends on situation and my dreams. Yes, I'm sure, that all my thoughts are realistic, maybe because this trait was given to me by my parents. Why to be naive and a bit silly (optimistic) or to much unwilling and uninterested (pessimistic), when actual life and facts are optimal and best choice? And yes, peaceful environment is my second home.

Your Desired Objective

"Always trying to make a good impression on others, and is constantly watching to see if she is succeeding in this. Is interested in howothers react to her; this makes her feel in control. Strategically plans out ways to gain further influence over others and special recognition. Is easily distracted by the pleasingly beautiful and original."

>> I don't really care, what people think about me, what they say or how they behave with me. I'm not of those, who always needs to make a good impression, but... if it happens, so why not? I like to be myself and if they accept my personality, I'm glad about it.

Your Actual Problem

Longs the freedom to make her own decisions and plans without the criticism and restrictions of others. Uses her charm to deal with others and get what she wants.

10 things that make me happy

10 things that makes me happy. It could sound a little bit weird. Just ten? Of course not, but some came in my head first, when teacher asked to take a photos of our personal happiness "reasons".
My parents and my boyfriend are most important figures in my life. They aren't "things", but I love them so much, that could sacrifise myself in any situation. They make me more than happy, I feel satisfied, joyful, peaceful and content. Me and Arturas (my partner, my angel, my sweetheart) have a lot in common, we both are active, adventurous and energyfull.
Čiak! It's not Chuck Norris, it's a name of my little furious doggy. I miss it so much! When I look at its photos, I always smile, because I remember, how mad and wild it is. Those innocent and sometimes sad eyes starring at me and waiting, when I'll give delicious snack or play with him whole day without stop. I don't want to swear, but Čiak is crazy bastard in a really good way. It thinks how to trick you all the time, but for that reason I love him dearly.
Ooohh my sunny mornings, sun light rays falling through blinds and wake me up gently. I enjoy it, because my day starts with good and sparkling mood. I don't need to rush, I just adore it, dream about warm weather and plan my day.
ESOL 1 Photography course. It's the best class I ever had in two years living in London.
